We the ledership of the CDF and the RUF, meeting in Freetown today 15 May 2001, in furtherance of the agreement reached in Abuja on 2 May 2001, solemnly undertake to ensure the cessation of all hostilities and, to that effect, hereby instruct all our combatants to desist from any hostile activity.
UNAMISIL will immediately ensure that observance of this undertaking as well as the unimpeded movement of persons, goods and services throughout the country.
