Present at the Togoima talks in the municipality of Páez, Cauca, on 6 March 1991, the Peace Council and the Quintin Lame Armed Movement (Movimiento Armado Quintín Lame, MAQL) negotiating commission, regarding the various issues that have been discussed and analysed

AGREE:

During the course of this week, the government will appoint a permanent representative of MAQL to the National Constitutional Assembly.

MAQL will establish a camp in the Pueblo Nuevo indigenous shelter, in the municipality of Caldono, to which it will move all its armed forces from Sunday 10 March.

MAQL has established 31 May as the deadline for the definitive surrender of arms.

To promote the peace process, seven legal spokespeople for MAQL will be appointed with the corresponding security guarantees.

The results of the commissions on reinsertion, factors of violence and regional programmes in indigenous zones have been evaluated and a period of three weeks has been agreed to allow them to finish their work.
