We are committed to stopping any further suffering of people in Aceh.

To this end, we have decided to begin, from 1 February, a six month period during

which we will concretely address humanitarian and human rights problems in Acch.

For that purpose, ajoint forum will be established where interested parties will be able to

assess priority needs and how they may be urgently addrcssed.

W e resolve today to stop as soon as possible the violence which is causing further

suffering and increasing humanitarian needs.

We believe that dialogue is the best way to avert further human suffering.
