CONFIDENCE BUILDING MEASURES FOR THE SIX ACKNOWLEDGED MILF CAMPS THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FARMER'S ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

1. The Annex on Normalization provides for the confidence building measures that may be undertaken through the Joint Task Forces for the six acknowledged MILF camps with the end in view of transforming these areas into peaceful and productive communities.

2. The Department of Agriculture (DA) indicated that it has a program to assist farmers in the six MILF camps as an initial confidence building measure.

3. The implementation of this program shall be through the Joint Task Forces.

4. To facilitate the implementation of the program, the following steps shall be undertaken:

a. The Department of Agriculture shall provide a check list of assistance that may be given through the Joint Task Forces;
