Protocol of the Gali meeting of the Georgian and Abkhaz sides
In accordance with the earlier agreement reached May 11, 2001 in the Gali region was a meeting of the Georgian and Abkhaz sides.
The meeting took place with the participation of the Chief Military Observer of the United Nations General AA Badzhua and Chief of Staff of the CIS Collective Peacekeeping Forces General Bugaev.
During the meeting the parties agreed on the following measures:
1.
The Georgian side will give the Abkhaz side of the six hostages.
2. Law enforcement authorities of the Abkhaz side is transmitted to law enforcement authorities of the Georgian side three arrested on suspicion of murder and other serious crimes.
At the same time law enforcement authorities of the Georgian side referred to the criminal case materials to address the issue of attracting referred to in this paragraph to the individual criminal responsibility.
3. The UN mission will be to monitor the implementation of these agreements and to assist the parties in their implementation
