MEETING OF THE COORDINATION COMMITTEE OF THE BUSOVAČA JOINT COMMISSION HELD IN ZENICA AT THE RC ECCM ON 26 MARCH 1993
AGREEMENT
THE UNDERSIGNED HAVE AGREED ON THE FOLLOWING SIX POINTS AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION:
1. The report submitted by the Busovača Joint Commission has been accepted, and the Committee has expressed their full support for the work of the Commission in Central Bosnia.
2. The Busovača Joint Commission needs to investigate the real situation in Bilalovac, as well as that of the Muslims in Busovača.
The Commission shall also report on movements of the 305th Brigade of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
3. Commanders of the 1st and 3rd Corps and the HVO Commander of the Central Bosnia operational zone [OZ SB], will issue clear joint orders to their local commanders based in the Vareš area, so that complete freedom of movement for people and goods inside and through Vareš is guaranteed.
4. a) All military checkpoints within the joint area of responsibility of the 1st and 3rd Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OZ SB HVO will be removed by 29 March 1993 at 12noon.
b) The civil police chiefs from both sides will meet and draft a joint directive for all civilian checkpoints, which needs to be submitted by 29 March 1993 at 12noon.
c) The documents from points a) and b) will be produced by the high‐ranking political representatives, present at this meeting, for the highest BiH governmental bodies, so that the removal of checkpoints is carried out as soon as possible across the whole territory.
5. For the next meeting of the Coordination Committee scheduled for 5 April 1993, all civilian police chiefs from both sides will produce a joint report on their cooperation to ensure order and safety within their area of responsibility in Central Bosnia.
6. The BiH Army and HVO forces will exchange liaison officers at all required levels in Central Bosnia to ensure the implementation of joint decisions and enable cooperation in general.
