Juba.

After two days of dialogue between we the chiefs and leaders of Bor County (Jonglei State) and Gumuruk County (GPAA) we agree as follows:

1. We admit that there is a conflict between our two communities, but we are willing and ready for peaceful coexistence.

2. We appreciate the continuous support of our Peace partners (Peace Canal, RSRTF, UNMISS Civil Affairs and others)

3. Each delegation will go back to sensitize and consult its respective communities on the need to peacefully coexist and avoid attacking each other.

4. There is the need for a larger and inclusive Peace conference involving sections of our communities.

The other communities of Jonglei State need to be involved because they also use the road and are also prone to attacks along the road.

5. We need to open the Bor-Pibor road to facilitated trade and interactions between our communities.

6. We appeal to our Peace partners to support our sensitization and peace conference.
