Respectfully submitted to the Chairmen of the GRP and MILF Negotiating Panels are the highlights of the June 14-15, 2000 meeting of the GRP and MILF Technical Working Groups (TWGs) as follows:

1. The meeting started on June 14, 2000 at 3:00pm.

During the said meeting, the Chairpersons of the GRP and MILF Technical Committees exchanged Position Papers of their respective TWGs on the six (6) Clustered Agenda Items.

2. On the second day of the meeting, June 15, 2000, the meetings of the GRP and MILF TWGs resumed at 1:00pm.

Individual informal discussions on the clustered agenda items were held.

3. It was agreed during these meetings that the proposals contained in the respective TWG position papers be elevated to the GRP and MILF Technical Committees for consideration.

The undersigned hereby endorse the above-mentioned recommendation.

Pusuant to this, may we respectfully recommend that the GRP and MILF Technical Committees meet on Tuesday, 20 June 2000 to discuss the position papers.
