INTERNAL MEMORANDUM OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT AND THE REVOLUTIONARY WORKERS’ PARTY IN OVEJAS, SUCRE
25 January 1991
In Don Gabriel in the municipality of Ovejas (Sucre), the following internal memorandum is established as a constituent part of the final agreement signed between the national government and the Revolutionary Workers’ Party (Partido Revolucionario de los Trabajadores, PRT).
I. POLITICAL GUARANTEES AND PROMOTION OF THE PROCESS
The television programme will be produced by Audiovisuales and broadcast on 4 February.
To promote the programme, two small consecutive adverts will be published beforehand in El Tiempo, detailing the content, date, time and channel.
Details will also be broadcast on a national radio station on the morning of the day the television programme will be broadcast.
II. PROMOTION OF THE POLITICAL PROJECT
The second television programme will also be produced by Audiovisuales and will be broadcast on 11 March.
The one-page notice will be published on a Sunday (probably 3 February) in El Tiempo, El Espectador, El País, El Universal, El Heraldo and El Colombiano.
The second half-page notice will be published on a date to be determined in El Tiempo, El Heraldo, El País and El Universal.
Arrangements with the media will be made by Hernando Corral on behalf of the council and by the person appointed by PRT.
Transport will be provided for one journalist to create material on site.
